I believe DID ZVM is the OE chain for the FZS1000.
I use a Scottoiler, after 17,000 miles with a new ZVM chain I can’t detect any measurable stretch in it, no tight spots either. Popped a new Renthal front sprocket in, so should be good for another 17,000 miles.
The only other thing I’d say is that if you are replacing an OE spec front sprocket with a third-party sprocket expect a good bit more transmission noise. The Yamaha OE sprocket was silly money last time I checked.
