A few years ago the gearbox in my lorry was playing up. I was going up the hill on Stratford Upon Avon bypass and gradually getting slower which meant lots of downshifts. There was a car directly behind me despite there being an overtaking lane which was built specifically so traffic could pass slow lorries. My lorry gearbox decided at this moment it wasn't going to engage low range and I ground to a halt. The car stayed behind me, sitting there while other cars passed by. It wasn't that busy with traffic and he could have pulled out to overtake at any time. I sat there for a good twenty minutes while fiddling with the low/high range button until I heard it click into low range and could set off again. Maximum speed was 10mph going up this hill from a standing start and he still sat behind me. When I really got going and my speed got up to 50mph the car driver then decides to overtake in the most stupidist place possible.
Yeah, it was a bloke. I find that most of the really dangerous and thoughtless manoeuvres are done by blokes.
