DID VX chain rivet

I read an article recently, can't remember where though, that recommended measuring the diameter of the soft link before it's installed. The rivetting tool, whatever type you choose, then needs to increase the diameter by •5mm. Your photo looks good enough. The Whale rivetter is most commonly used in the trade. Fortunately I can borrow one from a bike mech pal, as they're around the 90 quid mark , so a bit hard to justify that sort of expense, unless you've got a garage full of bikes with knackered chains. :lol
