Draining the float bowls and let the fuel flow through for a few seconds might be sufficient. Check the connections to the Ignitor for corrosion. Although if it drops on to odd number of cylinder it points to intake issues more than electrical. Are the blanking plugs for the vacuum take off points intact. They can crack right through and still look ok
