Its fine, the bike was going well until it dropped onto 3. There's nothing wrong with the EXUP valve, positioning is perfect, ive ridden it when the valve is closed so I know what that feels like, and its not that. Its definitely dropping cylinders and I don't know why, I thought it might be some crap that has got through because the tank has been lifted which would explain the low rev misfire because one or more pilot jets are blocked but that doesn't explain why it misfires above 7K when the main jet takes over, but sometimes it will chime in on all 4 and go like a scalded cat.
It looks like i'm going to have to have the carbs off and check the jets.
All the coils are still wired up wires removed and re fitted, ive checked the plug caps are all on properly, battery terminals still tight.
I'll fire it up tomorrow on tickover and see which exhaust is cold, at least i'll know which ones aren't working, but it wont help to find which one isn't working when it drops onto 2, it only does that at very low revs with medium throttle openings under load, but not at a standstill when theres no load.
I'm not happy at all.
