That's very good of you thank you. All the parts have been sourced already including an original top fairing and not a cheap copy which I am happy about. There is a crack on the left hand side which was there when I purchased the bike last April so if there is any saving grace to the outcome of this then I suppose that will be it.
I haven't mentioned anything to my insurance as even though I am not actually putting in a claim with them as soon as you mention anything a marker goes against your name and you become a risk meaning your future premiums go up. I've heard this from numerous people.
In the argument with their insurance company I said if they wanted a second quote then they could collect my bike on a low loader and bring a courtesy bike at the same time or do I get taxis everywhere and send the bill to them. I also told Honda I need a courtesy bike and the guy said they would provide one as they always do so no matter what I should be ok commuting too and from work.
