I have my feed screw set at about 1/3rd of a turn open get about 700/750 miles before needing to top up again current chain and sprockets 15,000 miles, front sprocket showing a bit of wear, but I do have a tight spot on the chain, no noticeable wear on the rear. I even have the feed set up as you have.
