They are just on the standard studs, not stainless though. I recall in my past life we used brass nuts holding the exhaust manifolds on lorry diesel engines. So I'm wondering if there is a reason you wouldn't use brass at all.
Maybe I should look up a chart of the reaction between dissimilar metals.
