I can't quite imagine what could have gone wrong except that he might have dislodged a wire...
Is the choke mechanism working properly (I'm not familiar with the 600 so I don't know if the choke is cable operated or not)


The other problem is that 8 years of being stood isn't going to help as the carbs will almost certainly need a clean.
