The "Tubing" on the left side (towards the front of the bike), especially the top one, appear 'floating' welded on the end of a long rectangle bracket?... you can imagine this being a weak point if the bar takes some impact and that rectangle piece would bend back, and the tubing ends will push back against the bike frame behind?
They do look beefy though. Probably do a good job of deflecting walls (garage / house) / cars (filtering) etc.
