Ha, try riding in central London surrounded by a million cyclists and kamikaze moped riders. At the lights it's all elbows to get to the front and then when the lights change everyone guns it, cuts you up and doesn't look back. I find the concentration required fairly exhausting.
My only crash ever has been due to another bike sat in my blind spot, I was trying to find him when the car in front of me slammed on. I grabbed a handful of front brake and dropped the front. :-( ...and the first thing that went through my head... "sh1t! I've stopped on the yellow hatchings" double idiot as I quick pick the bike up and wheel it forward with complete disregard for any dangers around me. Oh well! It's experience .
