Blind Spot

Was just doing a search for shoulder checks and this one came up. Passed my unrestricted A last month. The thing is that is what you're taught to do. Sit directly in the centre of the road. The Instructor put it like this "the centre of the lane is deemed the safest position for a new rider as it's assumed that you don't have the skills to take up and advanced riding position." Which is fine, but when you find yourself out there on your own it's very different.

One huge thing I've noticed is driving at the speed limit...always have someone  (often a van) right up my chuffer. Didn't notice this before as always had the instructor behind.

Trying to book onto a ride safe course locally but none active at the mo.
