I use a TomTom XL2 that I got for the car several years ago and put it in one of those waterproof holder things for mounting on a motorbike. (Off Ebay). Not as easy to use as a proper motorbike one but a lot cheaper and does what I need. A mate has a later car type TomTom and seems to have a few problems with it sometimes.
Mounted mine on a bracket above the clocks on my boxeye 600.

Using the exact same unit & case as Limax but mounted between bar clamps.

I use Tom Tom 820 Go-Live same case off evilBay, had a spare Go-Pro handle bar mount/clamp set the angle of it up marked joints with Tip X pen took it apart and super glued it together, works a treat, one thumb screw and it's completely removed from the bike, mounting and all.
