I've never had a renthal sprocket wear (front or rear) to a point that it needs changing before the chain but if quite is that important to you then it's understandable why you'd do this.
Never bought an OEM sprocket, aren't they about £40?
Well, it was important to me because it shows signs of wear at that mileage, after 15,000 miles that's not unusual on a superbike. A new sprocket helps my chain manage another 15,000 or so.
The OE front sprocket is £50 odd, it comes with a vibration damper that eliminates the Catherine wheel noise you get from an undamped pattern sprocket, simply a personal preference.
The chain you link to in your post is not for an FZS1000.
