Ear plugs in and you will never notice it though and will be thankful that you have somewhere to store your crash helmet whilst you do things and have somewhere other than inside your jacket to put that cold bottle of milk that the Mrs asked you to pick up while you're out.
Interesting you say that - there's only one of the four little rubber bits on the base plate (if that's what you call it). I've ordered some more of the rubber bungs to see if that makes a difference. I'm guessing it will.
Still not too keen on the industrial look of the rack itself though. The racks designed for the bike look a lot better than mine:
