OK..........sitrep update.
I went online this morning and the price offered was down to £146 !! ( yes I know I'm a cheap bastard) so naturally I clicked through and booked. Called me old chum and told him to do likewise and PRONTO. He did and was offered the exact same deal at £212 !!!!
Meanwhile I received a text from Travel Republic asking me to contact customer services. I did and , you guessed it,
"Sorry the room at that price has gone and we can only offer you that deal @ £164 "
OK, bollocks to you cancel the whole thing and refund my deposit.
Well we can refund the room cost and the coach transfer but the flight is not refundable ????
So the choice they left me was to pay an extra £18 but go on holiday, or pay £121 for foc-all?
By now I was ready to go into a screaming melt down hissy fit so I just paid up.
Now my poor old school chum is back to square one as he has to try and book the same flight, same hotel at the best rate available??

I used to not give a foc, then I discovered Red Bull and now I don't give a flying foc !!!
