Is a day trip to the TT possible?

We decided to hire a people carrier and not take the bikes each time we went, so many visitors lose their lives on the Island thinking that they can ride the 30 something mile course at speed, when in reality most ride the course at 60 to 70 mph in the places where the boys who race the Island are doing 190 mph and yet each year some forfeit their lives trying. Bike at home in the shed = no temptation.

Book up digs long before the event as prices go up the nearer to the racing, also book you Steam Package Ferry tickets on line as it's cheaper and you know you will get on the first ferry available. The crossing can be a bit rough if the weather is windy so if you suffer from travel or sea sickness take some travel pills. The TT is an experience that every biker should do at least once in their life, it is unbelievable the speeds these boys do.
My heart is thumping now just writing this and re-living it. I gotta go again. :lol
Tommy ,
I've just paid my balance today and reading your posts has got me more excited ( if that's possible ),I've been dying to do it for years and the opportunity came up financially and me and the mrs thought we've gotta do it ,luckily my in laws live in Heysham near the ferry so they can look after the dog for the week.
I'm too old and arthritic to do camping and not quick enough to book a hotel so we decided on glamping,
got goosebumps now writing this and thinking about it ... can't wait  :woot
