Is a day trip to the TT possible?

Hi All,


Just wondering if it's possible to do a day trip to the TT as foot passengers?  I know it would be a mega long day, getting to Liverpool, ferry, racing, ferry, home but can it be done?


If on foot, where would you get to watch the racing from that's walkable from the ferry>


Has anyone done it?


Desperate to go one year but can't stay overnight because we have young children who still need to go to school, I reckon we could farm them out for a day though 

Easiest way is fly if going for the day but lots of people book the ferry early then when it comes to paying the balance on 28 Jan they can't and the booking gets cancelled.
Best bet is call Regency Travel who are the official TT travel Agency and see what they can do.
Ferry goes to Douglas and there's loads of viewing spots there.
