thinking of buying a gen 2
#12
I had a Gen 1, sold that and got the Gen 2, 2012 model. Very quick, handle well look nice, but for me I was never 100% happy with the fuelling and throttle response, spent quite a bit in an attempt to smooth it out which it did to an extent but as I said I wasn't 100% happy with it. Gone back to a Gen 1 and I'm happy. I'm sure others are extremely happy with their Gen 2's but for me, spending the best part of 9 grand on a brand new bike and then having to spend even more trying to smooth it out started to piss me off. I didn't really notice it initially on the first test ride, but hey I was all excited and smitten with it! As others have said in this thread, go for a decent test ride and make up your own mind! Good luck, enjoy!
