Yes Railtrack now network rail and east coast now run by virgin and not a bad service when I went up north recently , train clean , on time , decent toilets , £10 to upgrade to 1st free Tea and coffee and drinks ,lunch and snacks and a paper to read as well as wifi , I wonder how it would've been if it was still British rail. I also find it funny how labour in recent times bantered on about re nationalisation and also decided on a pro Europe stance ( except corbyn who for years was anti eu until becoming labour leader then he sort of was ,then wasn't then kept his head down about it and now he's sort of both ) however EU laws regarding railways completion and cross border rail competition wouldn't allow re nationalisation so all the time were in Europe they couldn't anyway.
