Tommy - you experienced instinct
No court would convict if thats where you ended up
I will be more warey of 2-up scooterists from now on.
Would they target a 98 600 Fazer
Especually after my bike has been on the floor it worth less than the scooter they jumped off (although nicked I suppose )
The remaining scooter scum is now pretty vunerable to me going feral on him

To solve this there should be a change in the law to make it illegal for scooter riders to wear a helmet so they cant hide or be protected from have - a - go citizens.

Hi Sharpie,
No! I never heard a thing about it, no one questioned me at the time (That was probably a wise thing on their part right there and then)
Since that happened I have thought about it a number of times, it really is not in my general nature to respond like that, most people who know me would say I'm a bit of a lad and a right softy, and i think that's right to, even to the point that I looked at that incident again in my mind a couple of years later and ended up feeling sorry for the poor guy.
There is not many of us that hasn't done stupid things showing off on motor bike or in cars, and sometimes that is when things go tits up.
I honestly believe that is what happened to the guy that day, lots of people about so rapid round the road junction, squeal the tyres impress everyone.
Then he hits this little girl and she ends up scattered up the pavement, he must have heard it when he hit her then saw her lying on the pavement in his rear view mirror, how did that poor bastard feel at the time, he probably thought he deserved everything I threw at him.
I am glad looking back at it through calm eyes that I could not get him out of the car, and, to a degree he protected himself by leaning over to the passenger side further way from me, i wasn't able to give him my best shots. six or seven angry blows to the head can cause a lot of damage.
So all in all it ended up well, and if I ever met the guy again I would probably apologise for the way I responded.
But as you say Sharpie the instinct to protect what is yours kicks in and takes over, hence the term to be out of control.
