Have you considered a tail pack or throw over's, tail pack useful for solo use.
I was knocked off by a car with a large backpack on, had a couple of spanners in the bottom, flew over the cars boot and somehow the spanners lined themselves up perfectly with my bottom (they were ring spanners) not an experience I want to repeat :eek :eek :eek
