I'm sure it's down to riding style and probably weight (of which I have very little).
No doubt they're perfectly good tyres, but whenever I've had Metzelers on the 600 I've never felt confident about the bike's handling despite lots of experimenting with pressures. I've always been happy when they're worn enough to get shot of 'em and go back to Bridgestone.
