Was a hard slog but i renewed and refitted a gear lever rubber.mash

Gonna cost me more than that now anyway, the one i bought totally does the job but has a brand new outer diameter of 16mm, which is less than the OEM one.
Saying that, half my OEM one looked chewed to bits anyway so it doesn't really matter, but i just fancied it a tad bigger if possible.
I couldn't find the damn thing at all on the AJ Sutton site, but after a bit of research it turns out that the very large majority of gear levers use the same standard fitting measurements of 8mm inner diameter and 40mm length, so i ordered this one which i'll get in the next couple of days.

Yes I looked into it a couple of years ago as mine is chewed up and came to the conclusion that most are a standard fit, but that ebay one I think is round but I think I am right in saying that the oem one is oval.
I wil let you pay for the ebay one and then await your in depth report with pictures and fitting instructions
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.
