Probably normal.
These motors kick out a lot of heat in warmer weather and may seem hot-running if you're not used to them. I doubt the stoneguard is causing it to run hot. If it is overheating, the fan should come on but if it's working OK as you say, now't to fret about there, either.
I assume the temp light comes on when you first switch on the ignition?
