question regarding oil warning

Yep I get that sometimes, usually when I'm  trying to thrash the engine uphill! :lol  The oil warning light flashes if the oil temp gets too high or if the oil pressure or level is too low. Oil lubricates your engine, the oil pump sprays the fluid to all corners of your engine. If the temp gets too high, or even worse, level is low or the oil pressure drops, the effectiveness of the lubrication is reduced. I'm not sure what causes it to be honest but I like your suggestion-(oil goes to the back of the sump because acceleration?) Personally I think it's best to have a little to much oil in the system than not enough. i.e. 2.8l is better than 2.6l
Treat everything in life the way a dog would- if you can't eat it or foc it, forget it.
