In general, the larger the can the quieter it will be whilst still making full power without additional baffle. The smaller cans whilst looking great will be very loud or loose power with DB killer in. The longer the link pipe the more midrange gains you will getĀ but loose a little at the top end.
In reality,if you are normal, you will spend most of your ridding in the lower half of the rev rangeĀ so you won't notice much difference between cans power wise.
So it's down to your budget and how much noise you want to make.
I run with a full race titanium Akrapovic on mine and it passes the MOT each year without issue (not for road use ground off).
