Chain kit has loads of wear left in it yet, probably done about 7000 miles. It gets regular cleaning and lubing, adjustment is correct, not too tight or loose. I'll check the chain guide, but I always clean as much of it as I can with it in situ when I do the chain. I've never been one to use more than the s/arm marks for chain alignment, but never had this before on any bike. Never had the sprocket cover off myself, so perhaps time for a clean up in there anyway, can have a look about while it's off.

I'll try that on light acceleration, when I hear the noise. They're EBC HH in the front, EBC std in the back.
The other thing I think I noticed yesterday was that on a downhill stretch under acceleration it didn't make the noise, but not sure if that was every time. Need to check that again before I'm sure.
