You can convert the 2006 onwards FZ1 speedo sensor to run either off a front or rear wheel (via raised disc bolts) and can make it work with the original Fazer clocks. I've mentioned it in my thread when I fitted RWU early R6 forks, tho MuddyBuddy deserves all the credit for the idea.

For a suitable front wheel, you can go with 1998-2002 R6, 2001-2005 FZS1000, early 2000s XJR1300 or early (2004-?)FZ6. But of course the most obvious choice is 1998-2003 R1 front wheel.
TDM900 front wheel shares the same spindle diameter for the bearings, but is an 18 inch wheel as opposed to 17.
