I am interested in one of these just for insurances use but dont like the "brick" shape ones and prefer the tube ones

I bought one of the cheap cylindrical type. OK picture quality, but the battery life declined rapidly. To start with it'd give 80 or 90 minutes, easily enough for my commute to work, but after 6 months it was down to about 30 minutes so by the time I reached London it'd have stopped recording.
It now lives in a drawer. :rolleyes
