V4 wins hands down.   Better handling, lighter, smaller, better brakes, sounds better, looks better, with tuning both bikes are excellent, but you can get 160 hp at the back wheel of the v4 with a simple ecu reflash and probably 135 hp with the later v2

What about the character of the V4 vs V2 engines? I've never had either configuration, but have always wanted to try a big sporty V twin. I'm sure either one would have sufficient power for my tastes, bearing in mind I find the power of my Ivanised Fazer to be enough?
