No problem since.I've been using EBC X for the past 48,000 miles, but on fitting them immediately experienced the same problem. There was also a tendency for the pads to seize to the disc if parked up when damp.
I changed from the sintered pads EBC recommended (and supplied with the discs) to organic and it made all the difference.
