Track dayed your bike?

So who has been on track once or more times,,?? I seen a couple of pictures on here,,Gen 1 or Gen 2.

I have some mates who have acquired a couple or three track bikes for firstly a couple of track days, now  I have my Gen 2 lying around, geared down on front sprocket, Gilles rearsets , whats it like on the track,,not wanting to win races or owt, just want biking fun.

Will it be ok ?

Want to track my GSXR soon, i think it only needs to meet DB limits at the track and also you need full leathers......aside from that not sure what else may need....
