Honest opinion please

It doesn't look bad but what's the plan Joe, are you planning to mount a clocks on the tank like a Yamaha V star or are is it a new filler cap?

The tank is now just a cover, with all the underside cut away to allow room for the battery, there just wasn't room for it anywhere else, well not where I could conceal it, so under the tank it goes (tbh there are very small batteries available but at almost £200 I can have an aluminium fuel cell made, still use the stock battery and hide most of the electrics beneath there too)

I want to try to make it look similar to the dry break fillers they used in racing, it wont be perfect but then it will be several hundred cheaper. Off to the engineers tomorrow and ask him about machining and pressing a top hat spacer in to give the fillers some height and shape  (little to two dimensional atm)  Also seen a pair of flange gaskets I may fit.

Couple of pic's with cap heads fitted, not sure wjhich type to use yet, like cap heads as they're old school but will have to have a good stare and see if anything else takes my fancy
