Up and over hinge required for dummy fuel tank

Thanks, but after sitting and staring, fitting my battery and mock up fuel cell (and another good stare) I think hinges will take up to much room. Plan A was to just fit it with quick release fasteners so I could lift it off for filling and tbh I cant see any other option that will leave enough space underneath which was the reason for chopping it up in the first place.
