Cheers for that, the FZ1 tank is a bit of an odd shape and like you say the front section is plastic so not magnet friendly, hence a bit of worldly feedback from the Foccer collective.
Oxford and Held do velcro strap jobs, but that sounds a pain in the backside every time you need to fill up, particularly when it's pissing down and your gloves are sodden.
The quick removal ones with a filler ring look good just a bit expensive, my main luggage is a £15 Aldi dry sac .....
