Ultimately I suppose all that matters is that you do lube your chain, it doesn't seem to matter with what or how - so long as you do.
But as this is a save money thread then engine oil it is then, but as you are using old stuff how much "goodness" is left in the oil

I agree, it's not worth a foc if you're a Waxer or an Oiler as long as it's well lubed.
These Fazers are cleaner than the neighbourhood cats a$$hole- and he licks and polishes it all day. A credit to all  :thumbup
