Hi fellow foccers
I recently installed the multi-gauge (amazing work - thanks Christian!) and observed a problem with the water temperature readout. It is permanently showing a dash <-> and this means that the reading is either too high or too low. Given that I've tried waiting from a cold start until my coolant started to boil, I guess this suggests my water temp sensor is not working. This can explain why my engine runs hotter than any other FZS1000 rider I know! When caught in a traffic snarl for only 10 minutes the coolant starts to overflow via the hoses below the right footpeg.
Would any of you foccers happen to know from which OEM part category this sensor is found and what is the name of the part? I've been thru the entire parts catalogue and could not figure out where it is. The water temp electrical signal to the dashboard must originate from somewhere on the bike itself, right?
Thanks in advance mates!
