The HiFlo i bought filtered too much, and made the bike run terribly as it was being starved of air, so i binned that a few days later when the K&N turned up.
Vast improvement and was really noticeable, especially on a much sharper throttle response.

:agree  I switched to a K&N filter, there was noticeable difference. K&N claims it's good for up to 50K, so it may be worth the investment long term? Apparently it's washable too- but I just blow it out with compressed air and give it a spray of Isopropyl Alcohol, leave to dry then it's good to go.
