All bikes are a matter of opinion.... I could have bought either the s1000r or the tuono v4. I opted for the tuono v4 because i think it looks better, it sounds better and in my opinion it has that Italian ride that has more soul than an in line four. Before i bought it i thought in line fours were the best configuration, but since buying a v4 i have changed my thoughts on what feels and drives best. The s1000r is still an amazing bike tho.. 
If it's broken, it's not fixed.
