Braking performance

That was the main thrust of the original post. 


I didn't expect any change - I used the same pads, in fact I didn't touch the brake system at all, the replacement disks were the same - just MOT'able thickness.  My only reasoning is that maybe the callipers work more efficiently if the pistons aren't stuck right out as they compensate for both pad and disk wear.
