You will need to do a lot to the carbs (new jets/needles) and also put intake trumpets inside the filters to prevent flat spots at the bottom end.
When you have jumped through all these hoops, you still won't have any more power than a properly modded Gen 1 with the standard airbox, a regular K&N or Pipercross filter and a modded airbox lid.
