Question about triple trees for fork conversion

fz1 top yoke is same as fz8 (i have both here so i know) fz1 bottoms are rare so look for 2007 r1 bottoms as these will also work, note if seller states 2007/8 and theres a lug on the yoke for the steering damper its a later model and wont work
mikes write up is the base line for the conversion and spot on but some things have evolved since then
