Yamaha fazer 600 wont start

Hi. Thank you very much for replies.
Yamaha fz600 fazer 2008 model
The bike won't start at all. If in neutral or pulling clutch. When I press the starting push button, just makes a funny noise. Clocks come on but bike does not start.
The battery is new but could have damaged due to problems and also replacing parts.
