7 wins for Lorenzo, a good years work. Even if Marquez had got passed him Lorenzo would have won on countback. A shame for Lorenzo the whole season is marred by the Sepang incident, nothing to do with him. Even if Rossi hadn't started from the back would the outcome have been any different, he didn't have the pace of the front 3.

Also, what a year for Yamaha. MotoGP champion, manufacturer's title, the new R1 winning BSB & American championships, Suzuka 8- Hour winners. Maybe more of that next year plus WSB with Alex Lowes & Ginters.
