Hi Noggy, was going to say the other day btw your TRX looks ace! I actually quite fancied one but they are quite cramped when I came to sit on it, they sound fantastic though with a decent exhaust and so torquey. I know the TDM is big and is the same engine but not to offend anyone it just doesn't look that great to me. Can't beat a good trellis frame either!
I'm not going for the full strip, there's no point its a perfectly good bike I just want to offer up the goodies to the members here because I know taking it to a stealer for px with them still attached he would give me peanuts and be rubbing his hands all the way to the bank once I'm gone. I have most of the stock stuff in the shed so can refit it and have a good condition standard Fazer that may be worth £950 to someone or £700-800 px.
I agree completely power delivery wise, excellent handling bike that looks after you if you make any silly errors but if you get stuck behind a car and want to overtake it NOW you have to be knocking down 2 gears and holding it at 6k which I honestly don't enjoy. I want lazy torque now, it is more my style as a rider I have come to realise. Like I say I will also enjoy working on and upgrading something new to me, I want to get at least a 1000cc bike but not sporty high horse power output more grunt but just over 100hp would do me perfect. Also, physically larger would also be a bonus as the Fazer is a tad little.
How are you finding the TRX?
