VMware do a product called VMPlayer which is free and works on earlier Windows versions to do the same thing.

With either of these, you can have the OS you don't particularly like but need just running on another virtual PC and keep the one you want for other things. No new laptop needed (just disk space and RAM)

Val - does this link you posted http://lee-soft.com/vistart/  mean that my Win 8 will look like Win 7...as in looking like XP but a bit prettier.


Darrsi seems happy with Win 10 - so is it just the appearance change that Win 10 offers?
