Chain or wheel bearing issue
#1
Hi all

I'm new to biking having passed my test a month or so ago, so not used to the sounds and characteristics of a bike. I have an issue with my 2002 600 Fazer.

I fitted a new chain and sprockets (JT and DID) about 4 weeks ago and noticed the chain made a buzzing sound when wheeling it around, I assume it will fade with time once they've worn in. Wheel is perfectly aligned and chain tension within spec.

Anyhow, the problem. When I've been for a ride and everything is warmed up, pushing the bike into the garage there is a creaking/clunking coming from the drivetrain. I'm struggling to isolate it, not sure if it's coming from the front sprocket area or the rear, possibly a wheel bearing?

Once it's all cooled down the creaking goes. Could it be the wheel bearing? Any ideas?

Cheers all
Myles
