Fazer 1000 gen 1 2003 poor running low revs

Update...a friend suggested that when he used the. Piper cross / Akrapovic combination on his r1 it ran very lean low down. I had set the mixture screws as per instructions by Mike on carter soft for fitting Ivans full minty at 4.75 turns. I have now reset the screws at the full 5 turns out and it's just about sorted it. Worth remembering if anyone has the same combination.
