Is it the dipped beam pattern that's the problem? Kicking up to the right?

If you can work out where it should you can mask off the problem area on the outside of the lens with insulating tape.  It is acceptable for MOT as long as it gives horizontal dipped beam pattern, left hand drive cars pass UK MOT with beam deflectors stuck on lens.
